More videos from the memorial show the singer performing with a small crowd at the venue, and also performing at a public plaza before and after the concert.
A video posted on the band’s official Facebook page shows the crowd cheering on Stapletons bandmates as they walk onstage, and even a few fans can be seen on the balcony at the concert, smiling at Staplets band.
Stapleton has always been a loyal fan of the Eagles, and is widely known to sing at the group’s concerts.
He recently performed at a concert at RFK Stadium in Washington for the Eagles and had previously attended Eagles concerts in Chicago, Dallas and Philadelphia.
He was also the first Eagles player to take to the stage with his guitar and a small band.
In a statement on Monday, Staplettons band said he is “deeply saddened and heartbroken” by the news, but thanked the public for their support.
“We are so grateful to everyone who was part of the Memorial March and will do all we can to honor Chris, his wife, and family through this difficult time,” the statement said.
The Eagles also thanked the band members for their hard work, and the band said Stapleteons music was a “wonderful tribute to the great Eagles of the 1960s and 1970s.”
The Eagles are scheduled to play the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
