Shawn Mendes, Foo Fighters guitarist and vocalist, has been confirmed as a “special guest” at the inauguration on Friday, according to reports.
Sources told ABC News that the singer will perform at the swearing-in of President-elect Donald Trump at 12:01 p.m.

Mendes is known for his fiery onstage persona, which is the focus of a recent documentary, “Shawn Mendez,” and has been an outspoken supporter of President Trump.
He’s been nominated to sing the national anthem at the Republican National Convention, and recently attended Trump’s swearing- in ceremony at the White House.
Mendez is also one of the lead vocalists on the critically acclaimed Foo Fighters album “Foo Fighters.”
