Walt Disney World Resort in Florida announced on Friday that its new Star Wars theme park is getting a new attraction that will be open at least for a limited time.
The new Star Destroyer, which is being built as part of the resort’s annual Star Wars Day celebration, is scheduled to open to guests at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, according to a Disney statement.
It is being designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and will feature a number of elements inspired by Star Wars, including a ship-shaped boat that will float above the park.
Star Destroyer is set to be the largest attraction at Star Wars World in 2020.
The park also plans to bring back the iconic Millennium Falcon.
Walt Disney World Resorts announced in December that it planned to open Star Wars: The Star Wars Celebration at Starz, the Disney-owned television network owned by ABC, beginning May 15.
Disney World Resort announced on Thursday that it will expand its Star Wars-themed entertainment by launching the first of a planned six Star Wars attractions.
Star Wars Night Out, which will debut May 22, will be the sixth of the new attractions to open at Star World.
