A Denver concert went wild Saturday night after a gunman opened fire outside, killing two people and wounding several others, authorities said.
About 20 people attended a rock concert in the Denver suburb of West Denver when the gunman opened up on concertgoers outside.
People fled into nearby apartments and were taken into custody by police, authorities told The Associated Press.
Police say a man was shot by police and a manhunt was on for him after shots were fired from a car in the area.
The car had a broken front end, and a suspect had a gun, Denver Police Chief Robert White said.
White said a man who was shot was transported to Denver Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and that the other man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
He said it appears there were multiple shooters and a weapon was used.
Denver police are searching for two men in connection with the shooting, and the suspect is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, police said.
They identified him as a white man in his 30s.
No officers were injured during the incident.
